The Challenge

Phase 1

Rather than starting from scratch, we reverse-engineered the existing mobile app codebase to understand the data models, API contracts, and business logic the original developer had been working towards. Using Claude Code, our AI-first engineering approach, we then rebuilt the entire backend in just three days.

This was not a rushed, throwaway prototype. The backend was built on solid architectural foundations with proper data modelling, API design, authentication, and error handling. Claude Code allowed our engineers to move at a velocity that would be impossible with traditional development alone.

  3. Day 14 features: The features needed to convert pilot users into paying customers and onboard new yards.
